Amaranth grain (uncooked) recommended preparation

Amaranth doesn't need to be soaked in water prior to cooking.
Water ratio for amaranth grain when cooked stovetop: 
For every cup of amaranth grain add 2 cups of water. Let the water boil and then add the amaranth; cover and let cook for about 25 minutes or until the water is absorbed; then turn off and cover again for a few minutes.
